Is this the right section for this? I'm new to this board.

*ahem* Well, I'm a member of a gaming community called Jaine's Outpost. We are a Kal Online guild and fansite that has branched out into two other games, including Guild Wars, which is fast becoming our favorite.

Jaine's Outpost's mission is essentially to provide a "safe," informative community and to make available the essentials and finer points of Kal.

And now Guild Wars.

Well, we find that Guild Wars is quite a project, and I've talked it over with Jaine and we agree that about the best way to fulfill our mission at this point it to find like fansites and partner with them.

Essentially, mix our membership a bit and provide links to eachother's sites. While we beef up our Guild Wars database and community, we correspond and help both our communities to grow.

So far, this is by far the finest Guild Wars board I've found, but I'm still looking.

The site is still largely based in Kal Online, but we are gradually shifting to basing ourselves and our guild in both games.

I think you'd be best PMing the Admins, the only one I can remember off by heart is THX cause it reminds me of the movie thing and the phrase "plz thx bye".

Yah, but I thought it was a good idea to put the word out that JO was interested in this sorta thing.

Yeah, I don't really think this is the place for it. The moderators and admins woudl be the ones to talk about for this.

It's in open beta, it's free to play and you can download it if you like.

The leveling curve is tough. The graphics aren't great, but they get the job done. Nowhere near as pretty a game as GW, and not as complicated. More of a slog.

A great project, though.

Yeah, it does look pretty cool. When I have a daily gw burn out, I'll check it out.
